Hotelier of the Year 2019

In 2019, Anja and Christian Barth received the prestigious industry award "Hotelier of the Year" from AHGZ – Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung!

Jury chairman Rolf Westermann, editor-in-chief of AHGZ – Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung (General Hotel and Restaurant Newspaper), explained the decision as follows: “The managing partners of the Favorite Parkhotel in Mainz, Anja and Christian Barth, as well as Christian’s father Eberhard Barth, are receiving the Hotelier of the Year 2019 award. The company is a family business of the highest caliber. Many virtues come together here: family tradition, cohesion, respect, successful transfer to the next generation, commitment to employees, a modern approach, and overall a sophisticated establishment that is known far beyond the borders of Mainz.”
